Everything was fine!!! The apartment-owners are one of the most friendly owners in the world. They will help you wherever they can. The breakfast was very substantial and delicious. With Greek coffee, fresh orange- juice and a lot more. The rooms are clean and lovingly set. The washing- machine and WiFi is free. If you have a rental car, Kris apartment is the perfect spot to go to Chania, Elafonisi, Balos, Falasarma, the gorges of Samaria and many other nice places to be. The perfect family- holiday away from the crowded tourism-places (but nearby). People who expect a luxury-holiday are wrong here.

We stayed at Kris Apartments for 2 nights at the beginning of our trip before travelling to another part of the island. The room was very clean and comfortable and we had a wonderfully relaxing stay here. The son of the family running the apartments bent over backwards to help us find our way around, even taking us to the next town in his car to catch our bus at the end of the trip. Very friendly and safe environment. The breakfast each morning was plentiful and delicious, we were so touched by the special service offered here and would definitely stay again.

Very friendly, helpfull and no meany personal/owners. Big and flexible breakfast; always additiomal cofee and fresh orange juice; no problems if you start you breakfast too late (12.00 o'clock) etc. Free washing machine, free air conditioners, free safebox; huge rooms, bathroom with bath, private atmosphere. Close to the sea/beach. Very quiet place: no traffic, no big roads, no noisy neighbors, but all services are pretty close. Of cause, Malemes promenade which is mostly built within reach for activities. Wi-fi is availible only in the snackbar/pool area and this is for free. Shoud say that for more comfortable staying in this region(Maleme) you must have a car. Again heartfelt thanks to Panos, his father and sister who were realy kind. See you next year.

What we liked! 1) The apartment was very clean. 2) The owner was very helpful and willing to listen to you and provide any possible assistance. 3) The breakfast was big fresh and tasty (3 eggs, 3 toasts with hum and cheese, 1 white & multy seed bread, honey & marmelade in portions, 1 jar of Merenda, 1 Lt of fresh orange juice, a big plater of fruits, a big platter of biscuits from a bakery, coffee for us milk for the child..)We were 2 adults and 1 five year old child. 4) The close distance of the apartment to the sea shops and tavernas. 5) The close distance of the apartment to the town of Chania (12' from the national road). 6) The best taverna of Maleme is Kyma. The prices are down to earth, best quality, friendly stuff.

When I was searching a basic hotel, my expectations were very little. But I'm really surprised when I've arrived to the hotel.Owners of the hotel (father and his son) were very warm people. Breakfast was incredible. Room is very big and all equipped and clean. My friends stayed in Asterion hotel 5* near Kris Apt. Asterion have poor breakfast and double times expensive than Kris Apts. Thank you to Kris Apt again and again.

Well the hotel and Popi and Panos who run the business are the definition of the world "hospitality". I ve been many times in Chania region and stayed from 5 star hotels to badget rooms. From now on "kris" will be my first choise. Clean and spacious bedroom excellent breakfast , all in all a 4 star hotel in the price of abadget room!!

Convenient location, relaxing apartments with a very good value for money. The high quality breakfast was unexpectable for this rate and pleasantly surprised.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel 'at home'. Panos and his Dad, Kriton could not be more helpful and efficient. Real family atmosphere being with them.Then there were the breakfasts! Beautifully set out with masses of choice, excellent quality and quantity served by a very conscientious Kriton in a beautiful outdoor setting overlooking well kept gardens and the pool. The apartment was very spacious with everything you would ever need, all immaculately clean. Definitely must go there again next year.

Hospitality was outstanding, far exceeding expectations. Breakfast was very generous. Hosts knew English well and could advise on locations to visit. View of water from hotel was nice. Entire patio had water view. Pool, while not large, was large enough for early adolescent children to swim and enjoy a break from the beaches. Room was large enough for 5 individuals. Owners clearly enjoy hospitality and are actively working to maintain the facility. We felt especially well cared for during our visit and felt that we could have a personal relationship with the owner. We would highly recommend Kris apartments. (The only situation where I would not recommend is if someone is looking for an inclusive resort type facility which this is not. This hotel is perfect for families like ours which are fairly independent and enjoy a generous breakfast to start each day.) The owners also cooked dinner for us one night which was a welcome break from nightly restaurants.

It was one of the best places i`ve stayed. It`s famıly run & they are so proud of ıt & so helpful. Excellent apartments wıth space, frıdge, kıtchenette, AC ... complex has a clean lovely pool, pool bar wıth snacks convenıent, breakfast was delıcıous wıth fruıt bowl, fresh orange juıce or hot drınks, ham cheese toasty, bread\condıments & bıscuıts, & the hammock rocks! Really lovely touch havıng a welcome basket of fruıtş some Rakı & theır own red wıne. I`ll be back ıf return to Crete.

Nothıng .. but ıf you want dırectıons ... on the maın rd to Chanıa\Hanıa - take the Maleme exıt (1st sıgns are ın Greek & also say Platanıas ın Englısh) & when you come to a T - turn Left & follow long rd tıl see sıgn on Rıght for KRIS apnts (after Pyrgos... area sıgn) OR ıf mıss thıs exıt as ıt`s quıck because 1st warnıng sıgn ıs ın Greek .. take the next exıt (drıve quıte a whıle) & then Rıght brıngs you to the same long rd - look for KRIS apnts sıgn on your Left

Kris Apartments had the best service we ever received in Crete. By far the best breakfast ever. The whole family was caring and took care of us in the best way. We were quite pleased.

The situation was perhaps too quiet. We should have rented a car. Too few restaurants were open. It's probably because we were there at the end of October. Next time we go go there we go in September.

Very pleasant family run resort in a quiet location. Large and clean apartment, change of sheets and towels every 2 days, excellent breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. We loved our stay there.

Location is not really in a touristic area, but there are shops and restaurants at a few minutes drive.
